PechaKucha Toronto

We were invited to speak at PechaKucha during their Toronto Design Week event in January of 2014.

The format of a PechaKucha talk is such that presenters are asked to use 20 images, each for 20 seconds, in order to tell their story. The images advance automatically and presenters talk along to the images. Our talk was on the Importance of Play which explored reasons why individuals should continue to play throughout their adult life (not just in childhood). The presentation included two interactive segments where the audience was given 20 seconds to draw their neighbors, and another 20 to pass a ball throughout the group while completing the sentence “I like to Make ____”

You can listen to the presentation and see the slides on the PechaKucha website.
