We’re headed to the Tech Open Air Festival in Berlin July 15-17th and are looking forward to celebrating their 10 Year anniversary.

Tech Open Air is not your typical tech conference, in their ‘press release’ labeled “This is not a Press Release” they outline 13 reasons why you shouldn’t attend TOA. Some of the top reasons include: you hate the sun, you prefer leaning back to being active, you think engineers and artist are a different breed, and you thought the dress was blue and black.

Their mission is “…to connect, grow and inspire the human spirit through inter-disciplinary knowledge exchange and collaboration, and with every festival edition we achieve a little more.”

Check out last year’s recap video:

Needless to say we’re looking forward to playing with some new tech and soaking up the sun with the Berlin tech community. The event kicks off with an unconference happening July 15th and 16th which features speakers like: Yonathan Raz-Fridman Co-Founder and CEO, Kano, Yancey Strickler Co-Founder and CEO, Kickstarter, and Oskar Kalmaru Co-Founder and CMO, Narrative. There will also be a hardware pitch, a Pitch-nic for startups and investors, and Back to the Future which pairs startups with enterprise companies for cross-industry sharing.

But beyond the unconference there are over 140+ satellite events happening throughout the city, which are free to attend.

Here are our top picks for satellite events:
